Since 1987, Mr. Roberts has focused exclusively on valuation, economic analysis, economic loss measurement, forensic accounting, and fraud examination. His assignments regularly include expert report and exhibit preparation, and deposition and courtroom testimony. Other of his engagements include arbitration, mediation and appraisal testimony, and umpire review. Mr. Roberts has also been retained directly by the court as a Special Master relative to economic loss measurement and forensic accounting issues.
Tom received a double bachelors degree in accounting and finance with honors from Central Washington University in 1984. He completed his MBA from Seattle Pacific University as he worked as a cost accountant and later a systems analyst for the Boeing Company. Tom worked as an auditor for Hagen, Kurth, & Perman and was an auditior consultant for Costco Wholesale helping them identify and recover over $1,000,000 in improper transactions. Since 1999, Tom has been an accounting and finance professor at Northwest University. He received tenure in 2009.
An expert in Maritime losses, Jeff has worked with Veritas on our seafood engagements for both businesses and attorneys. He is intimately involved in short term and long-lived litigation with proven ability to retain detailed working knowledge of cases resulting in better-than-expected outcomes. Jeff provides consulting services in accounting, tax, insurance claims and estate planning. He provides support in litigation for both plantiffs and defendants and in aquisitions and divestitures.
Mr. Fischer is a focused, dedicated, energetic and diligent financial analyst who has been with the Veritas team since June 2012. In his nearly six years as a Veritas analyst, he has amassed over 12,000 hours of investigative accounting, financial analytic, and economic research experience. He has worked on economic loss, valuation, and investigative engagements in Alaska, across North America, in Mexico, and throughout the Gulf. Luke is an accomplished leader and academic scholar. Mr. Fischer is a guest speaker and lecturer on investigative accounting, internal control, and review practices.
Andrea has worked in the Import/Export field for over 20 years. She is a Licensed Customs Broker with an MBA from Seattle University. Andrea is the former Director of Import/Export Compliance at Costco Wholesale Corporation directing all Customs Compliance programs and audits for North America. She specializes in assisting companies with compliance reviews and audits, in-house training, C-TPAT and security reviews, and classification of products. Andrea is a recognized expert and a requested speaker throughout the US and Canada.
Larry joined Deloitte in January 1977, as an audit staff member and was promoted to audit partner in 1989. Since retiring from Deloitte in November 2009, Larry consults on mergers and acquisitions for various telecommunication companies, participates in negotiating national distribution agreements, and provides advice on corporate structuring, banking covenants and raising venture capital for emerging growth companies. Larry is also available to testify in potential litigation cases and provide expert witness testimony.
Wade is a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics specializing in areas of development, labor, and health. He is currently a professor of economics teaching at Western Governor’s University where he regularly teaches economics and global business courses within both undergraduate and MBA programs. Wade has experience teaching at multiple institutions including the University of Utah, Weber State University, and Westminster College.
